A project to celebrate pregnant womens amazing bodies.

What it’s all about…

This project is all about helping women to feel seen, heard and really celebrated at key life transitions. This creative endeavor aims to do that for pregnant women.

What’s Pregnancy Celebrated about?

I work with pregnant and postnatal women on a daily basis. Supporting them to navigate pregnancy, birth and motherhood in their own way. With a greater trust in their bodies, their instincts, and confidence in themselves. It’s powerful work.

I see the transition to motherhood (Matrescence) as the ultimate creative act. Creating new life - how could that not be?

This project gives me an interface between my passion and work in supporting women, and my experience, creativity and passion for art and design.

It's a visual celebration of women at a pivotal time of their lives.

How you can be part of it…

I’m looking for inspiration and muses. I want as many amazing women and bumps as possible to feel seen and celebrated by being a part of this project.

So I’d love you to upload a photo of your pregnant self that I can add to my library of images to use in the hand-cut collages.

Exhibition

I am thrilled that there is an exhibition to show a series of the collages, called ‘In Bloom’ in March 2025, which will coincide International Womens Day and be part of York International Womens Week.
