'There'd Better Be A Mirrorball' // Original linocut print // limited edition

£30.00

'There’d Better Be A Mirrorball' linocut original print

Celebrating the iconic mirrorball. The title of this print ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball' is taken from the Arctic Monkeys song. But it could also reference the Elbow song or of course Strictly Come Dancing - or whatever else a mirrorball means to you.

This print has been created from by hand carving natural linoleum, and then handprinted using eco-friendly professional printing inks onto lovely heavyweight paper. The gorgeous gold printing ink is available on black or white paper.

Each one is printed by hand, by me, in my Yorkshire studio. Because all my prints are printed by hand this makes every single one of them a unique reproduction, and subtle variations will occur from print to print in detail. Which is the whole beauty of the process and creation of handmade prints - no two prints are ever exactly the same! You get a piece of art that is individual and unique.

My prints are created in limited editions, so each print is also hand titled, numbered and signed by me in pencil.

Medium: Original linocut print - hand cut, hand inked, hand pressed

Paper size: 29 cms x 21 cms which fits a standard frame size

Ink: Professional gold printmakers ink

Paper: A lovely heavyweight, white, smooth, acid-free 220 gsm printing paper

Edition size: Limited edition of 100

Each handmade print is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist (me!).

To be really clear, you are purchasing the print ONLY. No frames or mounts included - framed and mounted prints shown in my images are for illustration purposes only. You can purchase frames (and mounts) for this size of print very easily and affordably. If you want any guidance or suggestions simply email me.

Packaging: All my prints come unframed, with a protective card backing, and wrapped in a clear protective compostable & biodegradable alternative to cellophane. No plastic here! Then packed inside a card backed envelope.

Postage:
Prints are sent on a tracked service within the UK.

Planet: I want my print making to have the least impact on the plant as possible. So I use professional UK made vegetable oil based eco-friendly printmaking inks (and no solvents are used in the studio). All prints are sent to you in plastic-free packaging too.
